Every one of the recent Internets Celebrities videos from Sundance we did ended with a variation on this graphic by agent b:

Today, Gawker’s First Responders series uses this remarkably similar graphic for their hip-hop blogger (T.A.N.) man-on-the-street video.
What do you think? Is Gawker a biter or a writer?
As long as we’re looking back at the Internets Celebrities series, lets revisit episode 6 just for the hell of it.
TAN is an asshat
— Billy Sunday Mar 9, 04:35 PM
I don’t know if that’s a straight bite or what. What I do know is that those two guys look about 50% happier than you and Dallas. It’s almost like they’re in Heaven, with the brightly colored background, beams of light, wings and smiles, and you guys are in Hell, with the dark, swirly red backdrop and apathetic scowls. So I’m gonna say it’s neither a bite nor a homage, but a statement of diametrically opposed metaphysical philosophies. They’ve clearly sided with Jesus in the impending war for the souls of all bloggerdom.
— El Keter Mar 9, 04:35 PM
oh and yeah, FIRST bithes!
— Billy Sunday Mar 9, 04:36 PM
TAN is the reason I’m glad I don’t go to Trinity… besides the racist halloween parties
— Jesus Shuttlesworth Mar 9, 05:30 PM
Eh. Don’t think anyone’s inventing the wheel here. More like we’re using similar tires, or something. I’d say two heads on a caduceus (new word Billy Sunday, make a note of it) is a pretty significant jump from your presentation. Before even getting into the purple and yellow sunsplash.
Never actually saw these videos before today, but nice work.
— The Assimilated Negro Mar 9, 05:30 PM
I just watched the gawker video. there’s 2 minutes of my life I will never get back. Can I sue?
— matthew Mar 9, 06:41 PM
It’s like these happy go lucky n*ggas man, when they get on man, and they wanna pop a little champagne…
— SmoothJimmyApollo Mar 9, 09:07 PM
fulltime jack move. fuck them up.
— khal Mar 10, 12:25 AM
I wouldn’t call it a bite, per se, but their shit doesn’t contain a fraction of the entertainment value of yours. Episode 6 was always my fave.
— floodwatch Mar 10, 10:59 AM
Well, I can see where you’re coming from but the copy n paste peoples’ head onto shit isn’t that original to begin with. But it’s quite obvious that those 2 dudes are kind of wack so they may be biting off of yall.
I checked the assimilated negro’s block for shits and giggles and all i can say is that guy is a fucking idiot.
— Just Mar 10, 03:21 PM
TAN,
I hope Gawker is paying you handsome checks for your house Negro and in-the-field Negro work. In any case, the caduceus is apropo since you are a snake.
Rafi and I created a lane that is wide enough for you to drive a truck through. Don’t use my tires, get your own.
And as far as your partner goes… My white could kick your white’s azz anyday allday. My white gets honorable mention on the B.M.F.O.A.T. list.

His DNA is part Spartan, and part Jew gorilla. That’s right Negro, he is a fucking Jewbacca and he will eat your boy’s food.
Plus I have other white down with me that you don’t even see on camera. I have a director that doesn’t know karate, but he knows karazy. I have a graphics dude who will out MySpace your whole team and I have an editor, occasionally, who has the hook up on killer weed and will film you while you sleep.
Don’t sleep on the movement TAN, the Internets Celebrities is as real as these internets streets gets.
Get your own style TAN and come out your own way, you’ll be a better man because of it.
— Dallas Mar 10, 03:38 PM
He may be a Negro correspondent, but I fucks with TAN’s blog. Do I smell a deathmatch?
but on to the real issue:
Is James Brown saying “ka-razy” or “ka-razor”?
For most of my life, I assumed it was the former, but a few years ago, I changed my mind. Now I’m convinced, it’s the latter. Black folks need to decide on this shit so Brother James can rest in peace.
— eauhellzgnaw Mar 10, 03:56 PM
fuck them in the mouth!
— Ron Mexico Mar 10, 11:14 PM
the 4th paragraph of Dallas’s response is the best thing I’ve ever read on the internet in my life.
